dumb question but we all kno i dont no ANYTHING about engines is the 350 the best engine that can go in a s10 or is there better?

carbed is easier, less wiring. FI will be harder, more time consuming, and cost more. Gas mileage will be the same about, cause its a big powerful motor in a small ass truck. Lots of guys with the second gens go with FI.

Just make sure to stay away from a Corvette motor. Might be able to find a wrecked camaro, pull the whole motor, tranny, computer, wiring, etc.

I would say go carbed. Easier install, easier to mod. Dont have to worry bout computer mods, programming, all that crap.
