   Joined: Wed Nov 15 2006, 09:16AM Posts: 557 | Ok so right now my truck is torn apart!! lol. I have a lot planned for this summer and im gonna keep my project thread here. Phase one: Is in progress now, It will encompass motor detail, Painting some more interior parts and zoop sealing my billet exterior parts. I have the motor torn down, all my accesories and front brackets are removed to clean them up (i havent deceided on what finish to apply to the brackets yet), I have removed some under hood plastics (fan shroud, alt cover, fuse cover) These will be getting paint as well. While i have my engine torn down i will be ordering some billet caps and other dress up and the cfm tech blade for my throttle body. I have the zoop seal master kit ordered and on its way. Ill get some pictures of the progress up tonight! So now im just going to coat everything to look like factory and then add some color matched/contrast pieces in areas that the paint will be able to stay nice. Here are some pics of the progress so far. This is everything im painting/polishing and a picture of my zoop seal kit that came in today! They look great but i still need a few more coats and then a few coats of clear once the weather gets better. When i get home from school my 3 piece billet pulleys should be there, Alt., water pump and crank. I will get some pics of the progress tomorrow. Joined: Wed Nov 15 2006, 09:16AM Posts: 557 | Ok time for an update on whats goin on: *A/C clutch cover: Looking to get the Sanden 508 clutch cover, the one i have now isnt as polished and doesnt match well. Looking into gettting one from Billet specialties and have emailed them to see if it will work for my application. Image: http://www.billetspecialties.com/assets/500/0000000868-prod.jpg *Alternator: I have removed this, in process of taking it apart to polish really well and then i am looking into having it clear powdercoated to minimize the polishing since its a PITA! Also the back cover that is plastic is getting color matched to the truck. *Powdercoating: Thermostat housing, hood latch and spring are all off and going to get powdercoated this week. Just going to stick with black for these parts. *ECM cover: Sending the mock pcm out this week (Thanks Pohrte!) to Billet & Acrylic so he can make me a billet cover for it. Thats all for now...
